Few days in Belgium

I've been in Belgium since 21 September, so one week is after me. What is so nice is organization for international students. The buddy program is a very good idea. When I arrived to Leuven, there were an information desk and a lots of voluntaries that help us on every moment. Orientation day was great, I met lots of people whom of course I didn't remember.

I haven't yet bought a bike, and after those five days I think that it is rather an tradition than something that is necessary for life here. Leuven is very small city, smaller than Poznań. It takes me 30 min to get on Haverlee Campus from Centrum. So it's less than in Poznań, where It usually takes me 45min to get on Morasko Campus. Really, you don't need it, but I am in some way an anarchist.

Public transport in the morning is overcrowded. Something, that for me at the first time was supprised is that buses don't stop on the bus-stop when there is no place inside. They have to invest in public transport.

University, we will see. After few weeks, on lectures is hard to say that there is better than in Poland. I hope that my home university at last accept my learning agreement with courses that I've chosen. Besides the lectures, those oral exams with openbooks will be some kind of misterious.
